Ahrens Bicycles is a custom frame builder with the goal of merging rider and bicycle into a seamless duo. The company was started in 1996 by Mike Ahrens, an avid mountain biker with a background in mechanical engineering and machine design.
Ahrens Bicycles uses only the finest materials during the build process. Our TIG-welded steel frames blend tubing offered by Reynolds, Columbus, True Temper, Dedacciai and Tange. Our TIG-welded aluminum frames blend Easton tubing and machined frame components including dropouts and rear triangle yokes. To achieve proper frame sizing and optimal fit, every frame is developed using advanced 3D modeling software. This flexible design approach enables frame geometry to be changed easily based on body dimensions, riding style, frame type and tubing selection.

Development of EPX bicycles began in the late 1990's at a design consultancy in Sydney, Australia. EPX began to sell its city and road bike lines in Britain in 1999, with U.S. operations opening in Atlanta, Georgia in 2001.
With over twenty-five year's experience working with carbon fiber technology, EPX builds bicycles and accessories utilising state of the art design, development, and manufacturing processes.
All of EPX's products are designed at our research facility in Perth and now in Melbourne, Australia, and must pass through stringent testing procedures before being offered for sale. EPX products have passed official manufacturing quality tests worldwide, with our products holding both TUV (German) and BSI (British) quality testing certifications. The EP Group is also Global ISO9001 certified, meaning that every EPX product is produced with quality foremost in mind.

Ethos Bicycles evolved because we wanted to develop a 'go anywhere' all mountain bike that didn't 'bob' up and down and rob the rider of any pedalling energy - a dual suspension bike that added to the mountain bike experience - without compromise.
After years of experience in bike stores, frame building in the Mountain Cycle factory in the US, a degree in industrial design, a US and Australian patented rear suspension design and ongoing research and development, we have developed a range of dual suspension bikes without peer.
